Abstract


Abstrak

Tulisan  ini membahas  sejauhmana  kinerja  bisnis  media  global,  terutama  yang bertumbuh pesat dengan sentralnya di Amerika Serikat. Membahas media global tak terpisahkan dengan bahasan kinerja industri media di AS, karena itu makalah ini fokus untuk mengurai perkembangan  industri media global dengan pergeseran-pergeseran  yang terjadi selama satu dekade  terakhir.  Bagian  akhir  dibahas  implikasi  perkembangan   media  global  terhadap industri serupa di Indonesia. Industri media Indonesia mau tak mau harus menyesuaikan diri dengan apa yang berkembang di negara maju dan apa yang seharusnya diantisipasi dari perkembangan media global itu
