Reporters and cameramen in TV news coverage are professional workers. Even though the position is different, both must be able to go along in line. They may not show their "ego" in news coverage. They must be aware, even though different positions must present interesting, important and actual news to viewers. They do have different main tasks. Repoter collects written material. The cameraman takes pictures according to the needs of the reporter and provides input when needed. But remember, viewers don't understand that. Viewers just want to watch the news according to their expectations. Reporter dan juru kamera dalam peliputan berita tv adalah pekerja profesional. Sekalipun posisinya berbeda, keduanya harus mampu seiring sejalan. Mereka tidak boleh menunjukkan “ego” masing-masing dalam peliputan berita. Mereka harus sadar, sekalipun posisi berbeda harus menyajikan berita yang menarik, penting dan aktual kepada pemirsa. Mereka memang memiliki tugas utama yang berbeda. Repoter mengumpulkan bahan tertulis. Juru kamera mengambil gambar sesuai kebutuhan reporter dan memberikan masukan bila diperlukan.Tapi ingatlah, pemirsa tidak memahami itu. Pemirsa hanya ingin menyaksikan berita-berita sesuai harapan mereka. Stasiun televisi tempat mereka bekerja berharap, setiap berita yang disajikan memiliki “rating/share” yang terbaik.Kata kunci: Profesionalisme, reporter, juru kamera
