PEMBENTUKAN OPINI PUBLIK PADA GRUP FACEBOOK GEBRAK NGADA: PROGRAM CALON BUPATI DAN WAKIL BUPATI NGADA TENTANG BPJS GRATIS

Abstract


Massive dissemination of information about the programs of regent and deputy regent candidates in post-conflict regional election succession often shapes public opinion. In order to attract sympathy and increase electability in the post-conflict regional election constellation, regional head candidates use success teams to spread news and narratives about pro-people programs both in the mass media and on various social media platforms such as Facebook groups. The aim of this research is to describe the formation of public opinion in the Facebook group Gebrak Ngada: Free BPJS Program for residents of Ngada Regency in East Nusa Tenggara. This approach tries to describe in detail the topic being studied. The results of the research show that the process of forming opinions in the Gebrak Ngada Facebook group is related to the Free BPJS Program for residents of Ngada Regency in East Nusa Tenggara. The initial assumption is that the formation process begins with forming opinions related to four factors, namely experience, cultural background, and espoused values. , and news that develops so that opinions are formed, and opinions will be formed after a consensus is formed. The most important thing is that opinions must gain public trust (belief) and show and convey those who have benefited from this program. In connection with consensus, every incident is exposed by social media, with a long period of coverage (broad public) and also featuring figures who are considered to represent certain groups.
